About
Why Hecimal exists.
Some questions survive because no generation gets to finish them.
Hecimal is a personal library for following those questions across boundaries: ancient and modern, technical and philosophical, historical and speculative. It is built on the hunch that ideas become more interesting when they are allowed to meet outside their usual rooms.
I write here to trace connections rather than announce conclusions. A temple story may illuminate a machine. An old philosophical problem may sharpen a contemporary anxiety. A technology may reveal that we are still asking a very old human question.
This is a place for readers who would rather stay with a question a little longer.
There is no content cadence to keep up with. An essay appears when a line of thought has become clear enough to share, and unresolved enough to remain alive.
